Ashleigh Wehmeyer
Ashleigh has been writing full time for the last seven years. She began singing and writing songs while still in high school. Through her years as a cadet at the United States Military Academy and serving her country in the 82d Airborne Division, she continued writing, absorbing all of life’s experiences and translating them into touching, truthful, and humorous songs. She is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association, International (NSAI) and Just Plain Folks Online Music Community where she has served as the Songwriter Forum's moderator for nearly five years. Ashleigh has performed all over the country, including venues in Missouri, Kansas, New Jersey, New York City, Nashville, Austin, Gatesville, & Copperas Cove. Ashleigh is glad to be back in Texas where she has fond memories of summers spent on her Grandpa’s farm in Red River County. She is the mother of two small boys who provide love, laughter, and inspiration on a daily basis. Ashleigh also enjoys the love and support of her husband, Marc, who helps make all of this possible.
